Join us on September 18th from 6 - 9 pm at the Montreal Neurological Institute for a night of knowledge and networking!

This event will bring together students and faculty involved in Parkinson's Disease (PD) research within Montreal, clinicians, support groups, caregivers and people with Parkinson's disease (PD) for a bilingual evening of talks, entertainment, poster sessions and the building connections between the various communities around PD.

Our goal is to give an opportunity for those affected by PD to learn about the latest scientific advances at the Montreal Neurological Institute and elsewhere in Quebec, and for students to gain new perspective on their studies through direct interaction with individuals with PD and caregivers.

The evening will involve 3 talks:

Linda Berard (in French, slides translated to English): Will share her experience living with Parkinson's disease

Chelsie Kadgien (English, slides translated to French) - PhD student in Dr. Austen Milnerwood's lab, will share her research on the neurobiology of Parkinson's

Lucie Lachance, RN MSc (French, slides translated to English) - Clinical nurse, Movement disorders Program, presenting on non-motor symptoms and quality of life maintenance

This will be followed by a reception and posters presented by students doing research on Parkinson's disease.

We hope to see many new and familiar faces!
