VISA AND ELECTRONIC TRAVEL AUTHORIZATION

Visa

Most travelers need a visa or an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) to fly to, or transit through, a Canadian airport.

What you need depends on:

  • the type of travel document you will travel with;
  • the country that issued your travel document;
  • your nationality; and
  • how you will travel to Canada.

If you do not have the proper documents, such as an eTA or visa, you may be delayed or prevented from boarding your flight to Canada.

Before you applyfind out what you need to travel to Canada.

Invitation letter

If you need an invitation letter for your Visa, please contact us at insna2019@gmail.com.

Electronic Travel Authorization(eTA):

Applying for an eTA is a simple online process. Most applicants get their eTA approval (via an email) within minutes. However, some requests can take several days to process if you're asked to submit supporting documents. It is best to get an eTA before you book your flight to Canada. There are many ways you can organize your transportation from the airport while doing your part for the environment! Here are few suggestions with detailed information about how to travel easily around Montreal.

Traveling from the airport*

  • Travel time from 25 to 35 minutes, depending on traffic

Destination Centre-ville (downtown)

  • 11 stops
  • Travel time from 45 to 70 minutes, depending on traffic
  • Stops at hotels on boul. René-Lévesque
  • Terminus stop at Berri-UQAM métro station

Transportation in Montreal

BIXI is Montreal’s bike sharing system.

Take one when you need one, and leave it at any station when you arrive at your destination. It’s the bike that’s really an alternative means of urban transport*. Accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Price: 2,95 $CAD for a ONE-WAY (30 min or less)

STM is Montreal's public transportation service.

Even if we highly encourage walking as your main transportation given the proximity of all services around the site of the event, you may want to explore Montreal.
