Guidelines for the poster sessions

  1. Posters cannot be bigger than 4 feet high by 3.5 feet wide. Only male velcro can be used to mount posters on the boards. The RQR will provide some, but you are welcome to bring your own if you want to ensure you have sufficiently.

  2. Posters and abstracts can be in French or English.

  3. The poster must be put up before 13h00 on November 13th for Session I, and before 8h45 on November 14th for Session II. They must be removed no later than 18h00 on November 13th for Session I and 16h30 on November 14th for Session II.

Poster competition

 

The three students with the best poster will receive an award for excellence. The first prize is 500$, the second 300$ and the third prize is 100$. Only students are eligible for the awards. You will have 5 min to present your poster and 3 min of questions. Your poster will be evaluated for originality, general appearance, content, organization of the information, your knowledge of the subject and the respect of the allotted time. The poster judging will be held during the poster session and awards will be presented at the closing of the symposium

 

Guidelines for the oral presentations

 

    1. The presentations must be in PowerPoint format.
    2. The presentation must be sent by e-mail no later than November 9th at charlene.rico@umontreal.ca

    3. You have 15 minutes for your presentation, including the question period.

 

Platform competition
