In August of each year, SPOT's M2 students participate in the Masters' Research Projects Presentations. These project presentations summarize the research activities and findings from research projects of the students, prior to the start of their last student practicum, during their final semester at SPOT.
This year we are honoured to have the inaugural Lavigne-Smee Invited Scholar, Dr. Rachel Kizony, present to us from 1 - 1:50 p.m. (13h00 - 13h50), in Martin Theatre, Rm 504. Her topic will be: Neurological Rehabilitation; the Use of Virtual Reality and Tele-Rehabilitation.
A presentation on the various bursaries and awards that are available to students from SPOT will take place from 1:50 - 2 p.m. (13h50 - 14h00).
Student presentations will follow, from 2:15 - 4:45 pm. (14h15 - 16h45) in Martin (504) and Palmer-Howard (522).
Wine and Cheese Reception as well as awards to cap the day, will be in Hosmer House from 4:45 - 5:45 p.m. (16h45 - 17h45).
Abstracts are due before 9 a.m on August 21 to be eligible for awards on the day of the Masters' Projects Presentations.
