Bienvenue au MOOT32 / Welcome to MOOT32

The 32nd MOOT NMR Minisymposium will be hosted at the University of Ottawa on the week-end of October 26 and 27, 2019.  Talks and posters will be held on campus at the Desmairas Building, just a short walk from Novotel where a block of rooms has been reserved for participants.
We are pleased to announce that Professor Elizabeth Meiering and Dr. Glenn Facey will be our keynote speakers this year! Following in the MOOT tradition, there will also be plenty of opportunities given to students and post-docs to present their work. Prizes will be awarded for best student poster and oral presentations thanks to the generosity of the Suraj Manrao Science Fund, the Canadian Journal of Chemistry, and Elsevier.  This year's banquet will be held at Metropolitain Brasserie right next to the vibrant nightlife offered by the ByWard Market. Wine to accompany the banquet will be provided by Bruker, who are also sponsors of the conference.

We look forward to welcoming you to Ottawa and seeing our next generation of researchers present the exciting results of their work.

David Bryce and Natalie Goto.

October 30th Update: Thanks to all participants!

This year participants enjoyed a day and a half of excellent talks given by our keynote speakers and the many talented students and postdocs who attended the meeting.  Thanks to our sponsors, it was possible to recognize two of our speakers and four of our poster presenters with awards - check out the MOOT32 Prizes page to see photos of these award winners. Thanks also to everyone who helped evaluate posters and talks, and served as session chairs - your efforts helped to make the meeting a great experience for all.

Next year MOOT moves to Guelph where it will be hosted by Vladimir Ladizhansky and Sameer Al-Abdul-Wahid.  We hope to see you all there!
